Congress organizers wanted to encourage the exhibitors to make eco-responsible booths. To do this, exhibitors were invited to fill out a self-assessment form in the exhibitor’s manual. It included tips to help them design an environmentally-friendly booth.

During the Congress, a green brigade was on duty to inform the participants of recycling and composting practices and identify the exhibitor with the most eco-responsible booth. The winning exhibitor was announced in Blizzard on Thursday, February 11; it was Ver-Mac, a specialized road safety product company. Golder Associés and the City of Québec were also recognized for their eco-responsible efforts.
